Methodology

Token Risk Watch tracks token market snapshots, then separates market data from missing or incomplete contract risk checks.

How pages are built

1. Find token
2. Add pair data
3. Normalize market fields
4. Check freshness
5. Mark missing checks
6. Publish or update page

What pages can show

  • Token identity when a source provides symbol or name.
  • Chain, contract address, DEX, and pair address.
  • Price, liquidity, volume, transaction counts, and pair creation time.
  • Source freshness, timestamps, and missing contract risk checks.

Limits

  • We do not certify tokens as safe.
  • We do not verify team identity or off-chain claims.
  • Contract risk scans may be unavailable for some tokens.
  • Market data can change rapidly, especially for low-liquidity assets.

How labels work

Available
A source-backed fact exists for the field and is current enough for the rendered page.
Missing
A field is absent or a source cannot currently return the check.
Not flagged
The current risk source did not report that specific flag. This is not a safety rating.
Flagged
A current source reported a specific risk field that should be reviewed directly against the evidence.

Freshness and archived pages

  • Market fields and risk checks keep separate timestamps.
  • Older or incomplete tokens may move out of primary views.
  • Some older pages stay live as indexed snapshots when they still explain what was found.
  • Removal is reserved for duplicate, broken, invalid, retired, or materially unsafe pages.

How corrections are reviewed

Corrections are checked against source evidence such as chain, contract, pair, DEX, provider output, or a supporting market/source URL. Unsupported claims are not applied to public pages.
